Custom Clad Garage Doors
Cedar and larch are the favourites; thermo-treated pine and ash are gaining ground. Factory-made composite, cement and metal sheets are also used. Two materials with different reactions to temperature and humidity have to be combined, so the build-up matters — we work this out with you before quoting. The cladding layout on the door is matched to the cladding layout on the facade.
The design
10 years on the sections against rust-through, delamination and disintegration. 5 years on springs, cables, drums, rollers and hinges, up to 5 open-close cycles a day. 2 years on painted doors and special-design cladding such as Okoume.
