Warm Edges

The spacer is the bar that holds the panes apart at the edge of a unit. An aluminium one conducts heat straight through, which is why the edge of the glass is the coldest part of a window and the first place condensation appears. A warm edge is made of a material that does not, so the whole window performs better — not only the glass.
