At Royal Doors we’re committed to ensuring that your personal information is protected and never misused. To make better technology and experiences, we collect information through Royal Doors website , the Royal Doors Link app and through our connected machines. We protect that information carefully and handle it with discretion. We’re open about its use and will always make you aware of the information you’re sharing.

In this notice, when we refer to “ Royal Doors “, “us”, “we” or “our”, we mean the Royal Doors company or companies which provide you with the Royal Doors websites, apps or connected products or which are responsible for stores, stands or events in the country. When we refer to the “ Royal Doors “, we mean all Royal Doors companies.

Who is responsible for your personal data?

It is not necessary for us to collect every personal detail about you. Our main reason for collecting your personal data is to provide and improve the service, products and experiences that you and our customers expect from us. To guarantee your privacy and the protection of your information, we define it as any information that could be used to identify you or another individual.

Personal data we collect about you

To provide products and services we processing: managing and coordinating the purchase, delivery and after sales care of your products (as required); responding to your queries and requests (through various channels such as online, in person, over the phone, post, web chat and SMS); documenting, monitoring and recording the lifecycle of our products, including stock management; and contacting you when products or models are next in stock. From time to time, we use your personal data to help you with the Royal Doors products you own. If you have the Royal Doors Link app, we monitor your product’s performance and stability, which allows us to: Optimise its performance and your experience of the product; in particular, we want to be able to identify when there may be an issue with your product so that we can let you know about it as soon as possible (sometimes we are able to do this before the issue becomes apparent); and Provide updates and services to our connected products (which includes updates and upgrades to the software in the product and the app that connects to it)

How and why we use your personal data

We only keep your personal data for as long as we need to, to be able to use it for the reasons given in this privacy notice, and for as long as we are required to keep it by law. The actual period for which we store your personal data will vary depending on the type of personal data and how it is used. For example, when you buy a product from us, we will store information about you and your purchase for at least the term of your warranty or guarantee.

How long do we keep your data?

We never sell your personal data to anyone and only share it as outlined in this privacy notice or when you ask us to. We share your personal data with certain third party service providers. They only have access to the personal data they need to perform those services. For example, your order and delivery details will be shared with our couriers. Protecting your data

When you browse this website we record basic information about the visit: the pages you open, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, the website you arrived from (without anything after the question mark in its address) and your approximate location — town and country — worked out from your IP address. We store only a shortened IP address, for example 86.152.x.x, never the full one. We do not keep your name, email address, telephone number or postal address in these statistics. If you place an order, those details are kept with the order itself. We keep visit statistics for 30 days and then delete them automatically. We use this information to keep the shop working, to see which products people look at and to notice unusual or automated traffic. You can switch it off at any time: open Cookie Settings at the bottom of any page and turn off Visitor statistics. Your choice takes effect immediately. Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta are separate and only run if you accept analytics or marketing cookies in the same panel.

Visitor statistics

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use them for what the shop cannot work without — keeping you signed in, remembering your basket and your privacy choices — and, with your permission, for analytics, functional and marketing purposes. You can choose which optional cookies we use when you first visit, and change your mind at any time through Cookie Settings at the bottom of any page.
