How a window screen is put together

The system

aluminium frame made to the millimetre for your window, with brush seals on every edge fitted from outside on clips, hooks or springs — on most windows nothing is drilled into the frame powder-coated in any RAL colour; the MRS also comes in golden oak, walnut and mahogany standard mesh is vinyl-coated fibreglass in black or grey; anti-pollen, anti-smog, pet-resistant and high-transparency meshes are options fits uPVC, aluminium and wooden windows, flush and standard sashes alike the Prime Flat frame is 10.5 mm deep, so it clears a top-mounted roller shutter

Seven ways to screen a window

Five lift-off frames and two roller screens. Which one suits depends on the window material, whether there is a shutter above it and how big the opening is.

Prime

The standard frame screen and the one we fit most. Hooks onto the outside of the window frame on sprung plates, with brush seals down every edge. Lifts off in seconds.

The same idea in a 10.5 mm frame, thin enough to sit under a top-mounted roller shutter. Clipped in from inside the room, so there is no leaning out of a first-floor window to fit it.
