Aluminium or uPVC?
On heat alone uPVC is the warmer of the two here: 1.02 against 1.28 W/m²K. Aluminium earns its place on span and on finish — a slimmer frame for the same opening, more glass for the same door, and a surface that takes any RAL colour evenly and keeps it. It is the dearer range, and that is what the money buys.
